A candidate may look perfect on paper and perform impressively in selection assessments, but still turn out to be the wrong person for the job. Once hired, their approach and behaviour may be inconsistent with the values and expectations of the organisation, or the new starter may even leave after a couple of months if the job just isn’t right for them.
