Exercises

Suitable for groups of people responsible for evaluating learning and development activities, this exercise encourages a critical analysis of learner reaction questionnaires, the most commonly used first level evaluation method. Allow around an hour for completion.

This two part exercise enables participants to focus on their learning objectives at the begining of a session, then reflect upon them again at the very end using a question card technique. It's also a great introductory exercise for starting off a training activity. Allow up to 20 mins for the first part of the exercise and about 30 mins for the second.

This exercise will help individuals examine their experience in order to gain new understanding and appreciation which can lead to performance improvement.

Suitable for learning, training and development professionals, this exercise allows participants to review the effectiveness of their evaluation process at the various levels. Allow up to one hour for completion.
