This case study encourages participants to explore the issue of toxic leadership and identify what steps can be taken to improve working relationships for all concerned. Allow up to 70 minutes for completion.

Exercises

This is a fun and easy exercise to get the group thinking about the different styles of inspirational leadership they have all experienced. It takes 30 – 40 minutes to complete.

Role Plays

Understanding how people interact is an important part of effective leadership. This fun, experiential roleplay activity has been designed to give leaders an insight into the roles which they and others adopt, to both positive and negative effect. The exercise should last 1¼ hours and is suitable for groups of around eight people.
