Thomas Davenport is professor of information management at the University of Texas, and today’s primary expert on KM case studies. Larry Prusak is a managing principal of the IBM Consulting Group, and is IBM’s worldwide competency leader in knowledge management. In 1998, they published Working Knowledge: How Organizations Manage What They Know. It has become a seminal text in the KM field, and was one of the first to offer organisations practical advice on achieving success through the management of knowledge.
