Introduction

“I’ve used a number of training resource sites from around the world but eden tree beats them hands down for relevance, quality and up to date content. A fantastic UK based training resource site”

In 1995, Peter Elsmore of East London Business School headed a study of organisational culture change in large organisations. Basing his research methodology on the work of Edgar Schein, Elsmore interviewed a large number of managers and other employees in two large corporate organisations, British Gas and BT. This formed much of the raw data for the study, which was collated, analysed and eventually published in the 2001 book Organisational Culture: Organisational Change? Elsmore’s conclusions are illuminating for anyone involved in organisational change or development within a large or medium sized organisation.
