Robert Kegan and Lisa L Lahey are the co-authors of How The Way We Talk Can Change The Way We Work,[1] a book that takes the interesting stance that language is one of the most significant barriers to change. The authors are both respected and widely published developmental psychologists who teach at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. They argue that change can only be successful if we overcome some very natural compulsions to resist it.
