Jeffrey H Greenhaus is a Professor of Department Management at Drexel University. Gerard A Callanan is the Vice-President of the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia, and Veronica M Godshalk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organisation at Penn State Great Valley’s School of Graduate Professional Studies. In their book Career Management,[1] they have come up with a model designed to help individuals understand and manage their own careers, and to help organisations to develop their employees’ careers. They begin by defining the key terms of career management, and then go on to discuss the issue from both the individual and the organisation’s point of view.
